On Monday, February 13th, 2018, the Arabic for Non-Native Speakers Institute organized the linguistic kitchen in the presence of the institute’s students and instructors. The students recognized the way cake is made and enjoyed tasting some.
Mrs. Naheel Al-Arda presented the way of making cake and the needed ingredients, and then she illustrated the special vocabularies in the Palestinian dialect related to it. The students were pleased with this activity.
It should be noted that the linguistic kitchen is recurrent activity held to familiarize the students with the rich Palestinian cuisine and to engage students in the cultural and educational environment.
